Allied provides a forms processing service that completely eliminates the data entry necessary to covert data in paper format to digital format. This service—one that moves paper forms seamlessly into any database format, without the time, inaccuracies and expense inevitable with manual key-entry—is a means to save both time and money while updating database systems.
Here's How it Works
1.
Data Acquisition:

Scanning: Using a commercial—grade scanner, Allied creates digital images of the paper forms. |

Virtual Print Driver: Instead of printing on paper, PDF files are created and sent directly to Allied either by FTP or email. |
2.
Data Extraction:
Once created, the text is extracted from these images using Optical Character Recognition Software, and is checked against the invoice to insure the accuracy of the text extracted. The invoice images are also available on a password-protected Web site.
3.
Conversion:
This error-free text is converted into Excel, EDI or other database formats.
4.
Export:
The formatted data is exported directly to the client’s database.
